Good morning,
In our recent Sportsmen’s
Legal Defense Fund mailing we pointed to the looming fight surrounding
the delisting of the Yellowstone Ecosystem grizzly bear. That fight to
defend science-based wildlife management is upon us as the U.S. Fish
and Wildlife Service officially delisted the population of grizzlies on
June 23, 2017.
Anti-hunting
organizations immediately increased their fundraising efforts and
galvanized their intentions: “We have to wait 60 days, but on the 61st
day we will sue to stop the delisting,” said Matt Bishop, of the
Western Environmental Law Center, in a New York Times article.”
The Endangered Species
Act is meant to be a tool of conservation, not a mechanism to be
perverted by animal-right activists. We need your financial support to
fight the good fight. Please
make a tax-deductible donation to the Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation
today! This is going to be a long-term courtroom battle and we will be
there each step of the way, but we can’t do it alone.
Sincerely,
Evan Heusinkveld
President & CEO
