WILDLIFE UNDER ATTACK BY ANTI-HUNTING GROUPS

Good morning,
In our recent Sportsmen’s Legal Defense Fund mailing we pointed to the looming fight surrounding the delisting of the Yellowstone Ecosystem grizzly bear. That fight to defend science-based wildlife management is upon us as the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service officially delisted the population of grizzlies on June 23, 2017.
Anti-hunting organizations immediately increased their fundraising efforts and galvanized their intentions: “We have to wait 60 days, but on the 61st day we will sue to stop the delisting,” said Matt Bishop, of the Western Environmental Law Center, in a New York Times article.”
The Endangered Species Act is meant to be a tool of conservation, not a mechanism to be perverted by animal-right activists. We need your financial support to fight the good fight. Please make a tax-deductible donation to the Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation today! This is going to be a long-term courtroom battle and we will be there each step of the way, but we can’t do it alone.
Sincerely,
Evan Heusinkveld

"This irresponsible decision ignores both science and the majority of Americans who want our wild animals protected." –Center for Biological Diversity
"the delisting rule ignores the ongoing existential threat posed to these bears by habitat loss, disappearance of staple foods, and continuing challenges associated with human-wildlife conflict." – Humane Society of the United States
