COUNTY BAITING LAWS FOR MANITOWOC COUNTY, WI

OUTDOOR NEWS: In speaking with Manitowoc County Conservation Warden on Sunday, I was checking if the Baiting Law change has an effect on the way baiting will be enforced. If Manitowoc County continues to ban baiting, the only people who will have the power to enforce the county laws are the Sheriff’s Dept. and those constables who have arrest powers from the Sheriff’s Dept. State Conservation Wardens will not be able to enforce county baiting laws. So why have them???? Sheriff Dept. will need more money to enforce the baiting laws by the county.
