Friends of the Branch River Watershed group! We kicked off our Family Events
with Fox Valley Herp Club at Manitowoc Public Library and had a great turn-out.
A big thank you to Lakeshore Dental, LNRP, HTR, Lakeshore Chronicle, Reedsville
Newsletter, Valders Journal, Bob Schuh, and Manitowoc Public Library for your
sponsorship and publicity support!

Stop in at
Rob’s Market in Manitowoc for a brat on April 28th and July 7th…
proceeds will go towards our youth fund and Conservation/Natural Science
scholarships!

Taus Town Hall April 9th @ 6:30 pm. Free,open to public…refreshments
served.

April 14th we will have Branch River bridge
crossing clean up day! Support our local efforts in cleaning up around bridge
crossings in Manitowoc and Brown Counties—we will meet at Taus Town Hall 9:30
AM. Rain Date is April 21st. We will have gloves and other supplies
available. Contact Al (see left column for information) with questions. Town Hall—North
off Hwy 10 on J. Intersection of Taus Rd—brick building on left. Bridge
Crossing clean-ups… We are looking to have 2 groups for crossing coverage. More
details ASAP. Good hours for community service!

June 9
Family Day at Dodge Preserve from 10 – 2 pm. We will have tent and chairs set
up as well as portable toilets. We will have transportation available for
access from road down to the Cabin. Directions: Take Highway T North off
Highway 10 (just East after Whitelaw), turn Left onto San Road (first road),
then take next Right onto Preston Road. Travel on this until you near a curve
and Friends of the Branch River signage as well as Dodge Preserve sign on Right.

Members
can take advantage of checking out summer camps at Woodland Dunes this summer!
We will sponsor your child(ren) at a day camp… get your kid registered and we
will reimburse you! Older children can attend the Maritime Museum week-long
camp… we require some volunteer work at events, etc as well for this next camp
sponsorship but everyone had a great time last year!
