ICE FISHING REPORT FROM CAPT. BRUCE GROSSHEIM 1-14-2018

Ice fishing is doing well in the area. Depending on Ice conditions of course. Always check before venturing out on the ice. Manitowoc Marina Limits of trout with a few northern reported. Browns and rainbows. Minnows and waxies.  Lake Winnebago has had some ice issues with cracks. Perch, Walleyes and White Bass are being caught all over. West side and south west side 3-4 miles out. On the Bay be prepared for some rough conditions north of Little Sturgeon. Also some crack issues with the shipping channel open. Off Suger Creek, Little Sturgeon, Volks Reef and Dykesville. White fish, perch ,and walleyes, minnows and waxies, swedish pimples tipped with waxie.  Some vehicles. mostly walking and ATV?Snowmobiles.out about a mike in some areas. Not much for drive on excess. Good Luck and Be Carefull
