MARCH 1st, 2018 MEETING OF THE MANITOWOC UNIT OF FISH & GAME, PUBLIC IS WELCOME

From:    The Manitowoc Unit - Manitowoc County
Fish & Game Protective Association

        Subject: March Special Meeting Event

The March meeting of the Manitowoc Unit of Manitowoc County Fish & Game Protective Association will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Lincoln Park, Cabin #1 in Manitowoc.  The guest speaker for the meeting will be Dean Greenwood from Rawley Point Honey company. Dean will discuss the reason why Bees are so important to our lives and how to raise your own bee hives. This is also a great opportunity for grade school students to come and learn why bees are important to our lively hood. Without bees, the world food supply might come to an end. Should be an interesting program.

The Manitowoc Unit is one of over 25 organizations that make up Manitowoc Fish & Game Protective Association in Manitowoc County.  Founded in 1907, the organization is recognized as one of the oldest conservation organization in Wisconsin and the Midwest.  The organization works to protect the rights of sporting men and women and promotes conservation and related education.

The Manitowoc Unit meets the first Thursday of each month and meetings are open to the public.  Those interested in the outdoors and especially youth are encouraged to attend these meetings.  More information on the clubs that are part of the organization and their resources can be found at:
