Roger's Outdoor Notes

FISHING NEWS:  From the DNR report they state that the ice on Lake Winnebago has reports of over a foot of ice on it and fishermen have been catching some perch with white bass in the deeper locations. When I was in Oconto on Monday, I was told that some fishermen were getting walleyes and perch at several locations with pike being taken near the river’s mouth. Angles at Voyageur Park in De Pere report taking walleyes, whitefish and some perch. Lots of anglers are flocked to Little Sturgeon Bay area this past weekend with mixed success reported for whitefish and perch. Sawyer Harbor area is reporting good catches for perch ad whitefish with some smelt being caught.
