Roger's Outdoor Notes

RECIPE:  Being a new year and most guys are thinking of fishing, well, here is a recipe from the Manitowoc County Fish & Game 100th Anniversary cookbook called: BLUEGILL CHEESE BITES:
INGREDIENTS: 1.5 to 2 lbs of Bluegill fillets,  1 can of cheese puffs or balls - baked,  3 eggs,  1/4 cup of milk, Garlic and season salt to taste.
PREPARATION:   Crush cheese puffs into a powder and mix with garlic and salt. Place in a shallow bowl or baking dish. Beat eggs and milk together. Drench filets in egg mix and coat with cheese crumbs. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Serve with your favorite sauces. This recipe was submitted to the Fish & Game by an un-named member.
