DEMOCRATS NOW WANT TO BAN REGULAR CAPACITY GUN MAGAZINES, NOW YOU KNOW THE DEMOCRATS ARE CRAZY NUTS.
NJ Democrats are Moving Forward to BAN all Standard Capacity Gun Magazines
Email Every Legislator Every Day Until June 7 2018. Demand That Mag Ban Be Defeated or That Real Grand-fathering Be Added. Act Now or Lose Your Rights Forever.

New Jersey – -(Ammoland.com)- June 2 & 3, 2018. This weekend represents Days 2 and 3 of ANJRPC’s one-million-gun-owner grassroots blitzkrieg against pending magazine ban legislation which will likely be voted on in both the full Senate and the full Assembly in final amended versions on Thursday, June 7th, which would then move to the Governor’s desk on Friday, June 8 2018.
As a reminder, ANJRPC is calling on all of NJ’s one million gun owners to email every member of the legislature at least once every single day between today and June 7, demanding that pending magazine ban legislation be defeated or that real grandfathering be added. Click here for the list of every email address of every legislator in New Jersey. Copy and paste that list into your email program. ANJRPC will be suggesting different messages for you to send daily. Act now or lose your rights forever. Copy and paste that list into your email program.
THIS WEEKEND’S SUGGESTED MESSAGE:
Dear Lawmakers:If you truly believe that S102 and A2761 (firearms magazine ban) is good public policy, then you need to set an example for the public by mandating that State House police and security themselves be limited to ten-round magazines.Every moment you spend in the State House, you are protected by firearms magazines that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition. As a servant of the people, you should be prepared to live under the same rules you set for the people, and not reserve for yourself greater rights than those of the people. If magazines that hold more than 10 rounds are truly evil, as the sponsors of S102 and A2761 claim, then how can they be magically transformed into positive instruments of safety simply because they are being used to protect you?It would be the height of elitism and hypocrisy to exempt yourself from the same perils that this legislation creates for average law-abiding citizens, who don’t have taxpayer funded armed security details and have to rely on themselves for personal protection. Vote NO on S102 or A2761, or amend to add meaningful grandfathering of existing magazines.
Please watch for ANJRPC’s series of follow-up alerts between now and June 7.
Please also continue to take action on the other anti-gun bills moving through the legislature. Click here to access the NRA-ILA “take action” link, where you can easily contact legislators with a few mouse clicks.
Please forward this alert to every gun owner you know, and if you don’t already receive alerts from ANJRPC, please subscribe to our free email alerts for the latest Second Amendment breaking news and action alerts.

WEEKLY OUTDOOR REPORT BY ROGER AND A REMINDER AT THE BOTTOM TO JUST GET OUT AND VOTE JUNE 12TH
Well, here we are on the FREE FISHING WEEKEND Saturday and Sunday June 2-3. It's a cool morning and the temps are in the 60's right now. I would like to CONGRATULATE Anne Busse on her first kill of a turkey on May 13th. Than her husband, Terry shoots one right after her kill. What a wonderful way to spend a morning together. I truly wish more husband and wife hunting and fishing teams have as much fun in the outdoors as this couple. They both work so hard on their jobs and they bring that hard work in the field of conservation also. Anne's project has been Silver Lake and they both have spent more time and money working on that lake then any other couple I know of. They both belong to the Manitowoc Unit of Fish & Game Prot. Assn. By the way, if any of you fishermen are looking for a custom built rod, contact Terry as he is a super custom rod builder and the work he does is out of this world. I only wish I had that skill to build something like he does, but if you need a rod built to your specs, contact Terry at Terry's Auto in Whitelaw, WI.
Get ready for next weekend June 10th as the Cleveland Fish & Game will be holding their 3-D Bow shoot, poultry shoot and brat fry. Practice and Registration for the bow shoot is from 8 to 9 and the shooting is from 9 to 11. The trap shooting will then run from 11 to 5pm. The club will have raffles and cash shoots. The club is located 1 mile West of Cleveland on highway XX and then go a block South on Union Road. Everyone is welcome to stop on out and enjoy some good times and having fun.
Do not forget, the Manitowoc County Fish & Game is sponsoring once again FOUR $1,000 scholarships to students who are in college going into their 3rd and 4th year. For more information, go to: http://www.mantyfg.org and click onto the Scholarship link or contact Dan Dufek at 920-860-4933. Deadline to return completed applications is June 15th.

Everytown spends a
lot of time b*tching and moaning on Twitter but their actual efforts to curb
gun violence are pretty much limited to just that. And of course, demanding
Congress pass a bunch of gun laws that are already on the books or calling
for an assault weapon ban that failed when it was tried during the Clinton
years. You know, the Clinton who could actually win?

Social justice
busybodies obsessed with how other people live their lives often portray the
success of their causes as a matter of destiny. “The young people will
win,” insists one youthful gun control advocate, falsely portraying
his personal crusade as a generational mandate. Yet recent events have
demonstrated that bedrock American values – including support for the Second
Amendment – tend to outlast moments of high emotion that are increasingly
relied upon by political opportunists to advance their agenda. Given the
chance to collect their thoughts, most Americans instinctively revert to
freedom.

Last week, Seattle
Mayor Jenny Durkan and Councilmember M. Lorena González proposed legislation
to the City Council to restrict the self-defense rights of Seattle
residents. The proposed ordinance, if passed, would impose a
one-size-fits-all method of storing firearms as well as punish victims of
theft by requiring them to report a lost or stolen firearm within 24 hours or
face increased fines.

Democratic
gubernatorial candidate Chris King wants to use taxes on weapons and bullets
to pay for gun violence intervention and prevention programs, school safety
measures and studies of gun violence. The funds also would pay for medical
costs for victims of mass shootings “I’m proposing the ‘Every Kid Fund’ for
Gun Violence Prevention because every child deserves to grow up in a state
free from the scourge of gun violence, whether it’s everyday gun violence or
mass shootings,” King said in a statement.

or following the completion of legal challenges brought to the Oregon Supreme

Don’t ever underestimate
the British capacity for combining the oppressive with the doltish. This
week, the United Kingdom’s decades-long campaign against all things martial
sunk to a fresh low when one of the Queen’s more domineering subjects floated
a ban on the sale, and possibly the possession, of traditional kitchen
utensils. Not to be outdone, other British busybodies demanded satisfaction
from a professional athlete whose firearm body art they found objectionable.

States controlled by
the Democratic party have chosen to ignore an individual right protected by
an amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Rights of millions of law-abiding
Americans in those states have been routinely violated by Byzantine rules and
prohibitions, and courts have turned a blind eye to those abuses. The U.S.
Supreme Court could intervene, but instead it has chosen to leave
unconstitutional laws on the books. Some prominent Democrats have called for
repealing the amendment, and magazine articles have offered elaborate
justifications.

In the wake of the
two recent high-profile school shootings, the institutional gun control
movement and many in the mainstream media have taken their always alarmist
rhetoric to new heights. Michael Bloomberg anti-gun front group Everytown for
Gun Safety has released misleading and routinely debunked
figures on the prevalence of school shootings in the U.S. A
New York Times columnist, wrote an item following the Houston shooting
titled, “This Is School in America Now,” calling such tragedies an “everyday
nightmare.” A reporter for the Washington Post authored an article with the
salacious and misleading headline “2018 has been deadlier for schoolchildren
than service members.” It wasn’t until the fifth paragraph that the Post
bothered to mention that there are 50 million public school students as
compared to 1.3 members of the military; meaning service in our armed forces
is in fact, contrary to the headline, 17 times deadlier. Barack Obama’s
Education Secretary Arne Duncan called for a school boycott, while contending
that “the threat of gun violence infects everyday life.”

4 Tips For A Great Range Day Without Breaking The Bank
Posted by Team Armscor on May 29, 2018

We all know shooting can be spendy. Each bullet you fire is pretty much the equivalent of shooting a quarter, at least! Then you have range fees and the gas you use to get to your range. It all adds up.
However, we have some tips to help you cut down on those range costs.
Find Public Land
One of the first expenses for many shooters is the range fee, or annual membership costs to a shooting club. If you happen to live in the western United States you can bypass official ranges and opt for public land instead. The Bureau of Land Management oversees millions of acres of land in the United States, most of which is concentrated in the western half of the nation. Some of this public land allows for target shooting.
Check with your state BLM branch and make sure they have land available for target shooting and follow any outlined rules. Of course, as a responsible firearm owner, you should always clean up after you’re done shooting. It’s public land after all and no one else likes coming to an area that’s been littered.
Have a Focus
Another great way to get the most out of your range day is to have a plan beforehand. Don’t just dump magazine after magazine. Think of a couple techniques to practice and take your time. The more you rush the more quickly you’ll chew your ammo.
Bring a Friend
If you have a friend to go shooting with, bring them along. You can each pitch in some guns, ammo, and carpool if possible. If you can share a lane at your range then you can probably split the range fee as well (if you didn’t find a free option).
Recycle Targets
If you use paper or cardboard targets don’t be afraid to use them. Bring some tape to cover up the holes and you might be able to get another session out of that target. Another option, would be to find some cardboard boxes or paper sheets laying around that need a purpose. Break down the boxes and use them as targets!

Hello Roger P,
Wow, with the hot weather
lately, we've gone from a late winter to early summer. I stopped by the Abrams
project earlier this week (see Peter's notes below), to review the mowing
work done by our partners at Pro Plots. This work was
originally intended & scouted in March, for completion in early April,
for possible controlled burning preparation later that month. Unfortunately,
it's surprisingly hard to mow, no matter how big your tractor is, with
30" of fresh snow! Never the less, the work has progressed, albeit later
than planned, and will still pay good benefits for the habitat, and we'll see
about that burn next spring before things green up again.
Speaking of early starts, the Calendar Committee
completed their work, and the data files are at the printer, I expect we'll
see a final proof any day now. We're a couple weeks ahead of last year, so we
should be in very good shape, to be able to start distributing this awesome
raffle (and powerhouse fundraiser) shortly after the Independence Day holiday
week. Meanwhile, you
This month features two great
events you can join in, as well: The Madison Scramble
golf outing, at The Oaks in Cottage Grove on Tuesday the 19th, and the Waukesha
County Sporting Clays Shoot, 3rd of 6 in this year's Series, in Pewaukee
on Sunday the 24th. Check them out, they're great reasons to be outside,
enjoying the weather, while helping support your Association, and maybe hone
your skills a bit!
Finally, don't forget to mark
your calendars for August 10-11-12. That's when we'll move our 2nd WWA Decoy Carving Contest
& Exhibition, which debuted alongside the Federal Duck Stamp
Competition in Stevens Point last summer, down to the Richfield Cabela's,
where it will join our State Duck & Goose Calling Championships. The
combination of these two events should make Richfield the place to be in
Wisconsin for waterfowlers, for that weekend, for sure! We'll be making our
formal "release" soon, but you can say you saw it here, first. Want
to see what the decoy contest is all about? Dan Small & the Outdoors
Wisconsin crew covered it: the episode from February repeats again TOMORROW
on Milwaukee PBS at 9:00 a.m. and on the state public TV network at 10:30
a.m. Or, you can watch it here:
Thanks to all of our
volunteers - they make your Association happen!
See you on the water, Don
