OUTDOOR NEWS:   NRA-ILA GRASSROOTS  VOL. 24  #8:   Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals Ignores Heller: NO Protection for Guns it deems “Dangerous.” Many of the lower courts have been Making up their own rules when it come to the Second Amendment. Many of these lower courts had Obama hand-picked Judges placed on the benches and they are refusing to follow the U.S. Supreme Court rulings in Heller and McDonald cases, which shows that the fight for your gun rights are still very real. The 4th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that America’s most popular types of rifles, banned in the State of Maryland, have NO Second Amendment protection.  AMICUS BRIEFS filed in Support of Petition for Supreme Court Review in Peruta Right-to-Carry Case by the California Rifle and Pistol Assn., which seeks to confirm that the Second Amendment protects the right to carry a firearm for self-defense.  LAST CHANCE!  Urge your Senators to confirm Ryan Zinke for Secretary of the Interior. The vote to confirm him is coming up this week. JUSTICE RUTH BADER (83 YEARS OLD) GINSBURG:  Praises Legacy Media in interview with British Press. She claims to have a way to go in her career. A FOURTH CIRCUIT TRIFECTA: NEW RULINGS CONFIRM NEED FOR JUDGES WHO RESPECT THE SECOND AMENDMENT.   TAXACHUSETTS: Bay State Politician wants to Soak Gun Owners, In an attempt to further punish Massachusetts’s beleaguered gun owners a State Senator has introduced legislation to include a raft of Gun Control measures, not the least of which is a 4.75% “sin tax” on all firearms-related activity. FISHING NEWS:  Well the fishing on the Fox River this past week was really good with over 100 boats on the river. I witness three pontoons near the river’s mouth fishing by the yacht club and power plant. Most of the boats were near the Hwy 172 bridge to Voyageur Park. Fishing in Southeastern Wis, the fishermen were getting catches of Coho Salmon and brown and rainbow trout near the Milwaukee Harbor and in Oak Creek. If you are fishing near the Oak Creek area, browns are being taken by just about everyone. Of course, now that the snow and colder weather came back, who will know what has been going on down there this weekend. During the warmer weather, walleyes were being taken on Lake Wisconsin. Anglers at Geano Beach reported several pike and 30 fish registered at a tournament last week Saturday. Along Door County, anglers fishing in Little Sturgeon were reporting about 14-16 inches of ice, but the warmer temps since then, has broken up most of the ice. It’s no longer safe to be on any ice. For the third day the Sturgeon Spearers did not report any fish speared, mainly because no one is spearing anymore due to the ice being gone. So it pretty much ends the 2017 Sturgeon Spearing Season. Totals will be coming out later on this week. Fishermen have been on the East and West Twin Rivers this past week, I haven’t heard of anything being taken yet, but I have to hand it to the younger boys I see down there trying to catch something. Those boys are the true fishermen of the future. Good Luck boys!

STURGEON SPEARING UPDATE:  The 2017 sturgeon spearing season on Lake Winnebago and the Upriver Lakes may not be officially close until Sunday, but Mother Nature made a strong case otherwise on Friday.  Friday marked the second consecutive day that 0 sturgeon were harvested on the Winnebago system. With all the ice floats piling up on the shores, I would be safe saying not too many more sturgeon will be speared. The total amounts of sturgeon taken will be released on either Sunday or Monday this week.

OUTDOOR NEWS:   Here is a list of upcoming Gun Shows that Bruce Grossheim supplied to me.  March 5th  at the Swan Club, sponsored by the Fort Onieda Muzzle Loaders;  and one at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds April 8th and 9th sponsored by the Wis. Gun Collectors. Sat. from 8am to 5pm and Sunday from 8am to 3pm. No better time than now to stock up on firearms the way the liberals are acting in America, and the way some states that are run by Democrats are drawing up firearm laws against all owners or taxing them to death to pay for the debts they are running up to help those too lazy to help themselves.( This writer’s opinion only)
