Outdoor News

FISHING NEWS:   Well, fishing in the county has been a little hard with all that rain we are having now. A lot of fishermen were kept off the lake due to the weather, but hopefully this weekend will prove to be a different story. Reports show that the water temps are about 45-F. Very few anglers are fishing on the West and East Twin Rivers for steelheads, and I have been seeing some out there all day. Reports from the Milwaukee area show that the salmon are on the move and coming northward. Brown trout in the southern half of the state are starting to come around, close to shore for the fishermen. Some of the boats in the Sheboygan area were getting a few rainbows and coho salmon this past week. Mixed bags of chinook and lakers were being caught. I hope many of you had a chance to see all the huge smallmouth bass taken last weekend during the tournament. Remember to listen to the CUB RADIO SPORT FISHING REPORTS with Capt. Bruce starting this Friday at 6:20 am and listen to the reports all holiday weekend. Do not forget that on June 3 and 4th is the FREE FISHING WEEKEND, with everything free and the only thing you need to remember is to follow all State Laws for fishing. Good Luck to all fishermen and women and the kids too.
