OUTDOOR NEWS:  NRA-ILA DAILY ALERT April 26th:   CHICAGO: Mayor Rahm Emanuel pushing for more gun control, ( Editor’s Note:  How are all those gun laws now working they have on the books, what are newer ones going to do? );  INDIANA:  Governor says he will sign several contested bills;  BALTIMORE CITY: Considers lifting Stun Gun Ban;  PENNSYLVANIA: Senate again takes aim at local firearm laws;  RHODE ISLAND: Control? Prohibition? Guns back on the agenda at R.I. State House;  NRA takes aim at California to reverse its gun control laws;  Gun Control groups ready for showdown with NRA, claiming “We’ll spend what it takes” and they are drawing a line in the sand, with money from Billionaire former Mayor of New York City Michael Bloomberg.

FRIENDS OF THE BRANCH RIVER WATERSHED is having their annual Brat Fry Fundraiser this coming Saturday at Rob’s Market on Menasha Ave. from 10 am to 3 pm. Also mark down these dates, May 20th  (Rain Date is May 21st  1pm ) Branch River Bridge Crossing Clean Up Day and meet at the Taus Town Hall at 9:30 am.  June 10th is Family Day at 10 am to 2 pm at the Dodge Preserve. June dates to be announced for the Maritime Museum’s Watershed Ambassadors Camp and the group will sponsor youth ages 12 to 17 years old., June 30th Brat Fry at Rob’s in Manitowoc 10 am to 3 pm. More will be coming as the dates get closer.


Do not forget the Mishicot Sportsman Club 2017 Spring Archery Tournament will be held this Saturday April 29th and Sunday April 30th from 8 am to 4 pm each day. Lunch and Refreshments will be served all day. Come on out and see how much fun you can have shooting against others. See you there.
