Roger's Outdoor News

FISHNG NEWS:  Had an opportunity to see fishermen on the rivers up at New London and I really was surprised of the number of boats on the waters. Not a lot of luck according to their reports but they keep on fishing. On the Fox River from State Hwy 172 in Green Bay up to the Dam in De Pere, the river was loaded with boats and fishermen along the shoreline. Some nice size walleyes were being taken, but from what I could see, lots of catch and release right now. The East and West Twin Rivers have been seeing a lot of fishermen from all over the State.

ATTENTION all fishermen of the East Twin River in Mishicot. Remember that on April 18th through April 27th, the U S Fish & Game will be placing lampricides to control the lamprey in our river. The river right now has lamprey larvae present and they need to control them before they grow up to be full size lamprey. If this infestation is left untreated, it will have a detrimental effect upon fish populations that inhabit the Great Lakes.
