Abusing the legal system to advance an
agenda is a tried-and-true technique used by anti-hunting and
animal-rights activists. Unfortunately, it is a tactic used more often
each year. Thanks to support from dedicated members and donors like
yourself, the Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation has recently defeated these
tactics in Maine, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin, among others.
However, each win comes at a high cost.
Protecting our outdoor heritage through the courts is an expensive way to
defend the science-based management methods of hunting, fishing and
trapping. Since the wolf issue started over 10 years ago, we
have spent nearly $600,000 just on this case alone!
