Roger's Outdoor Notes

FISHING NEWS:   As I was driving over the Fox River Tuesday morning by Hwy 172, the river was starting to fill up with fishermen from the park in De Pere to the bridge. Bruce Grossheim reports that the walleyes were hitting there. I spoke to fishermen who were fishing near the mouth of the river and had some luck, but nothing to bring home. The 28” length is in effect March 1st and the limit is still 5 fish.  Ice conditions on the Bay is getting very dangerous in spots, so no more vehicles or ATV’s on the ice. In fact, if you really care about your life, stay off the ice please. We all need your help to protect our Outdoors from those who continue to try to stop all sportsmen and women from enjoying our sport. If you have to go onto the ice, please be careful.
