FISHING NEWS: 2017
STURGEON SPEARING SEASON is going very good for the very first day. 198
fish harvested from Lake Winnebago and 15 were over 100 lbs. 3 fish were
over 140 pounds. Congratulations to all the successful fishermen and women over
o the big pond. The DNR collected sturgeon stomachs from more than 50 fish the
first day and will be collecting more in order to study what the fish are
eating and how much. Good Luck to all the fishermen and women for the
rest of the season.
