FISHING NEWS: MANITOWOC
COUTY BASS CLUB held their annual Kids Ice Fishing Derby
on Saturday Feb. 11th at Haupt’s Lake. There was 84 kids who entered
the contest and every one of them were winners. If you have never seen a lake
full of kids, you really need to show up next year with your kids or grandkids
and have a wonderful time fishing. They fish all morning long and hand out
prizes to all those registered to fish. Come on Public, you have to support a
program that gets kids away from the TV and Video games and fishing is the way
to go. 1st place winner was Olivia Hoefner, 8
years old with a Northern Pike of 3.3 pounds, 2nd place
winner was Trenton Havlovitz, 10 years old with a Northern Pike of 2.9 pounds, 3rd
place winner was Blake Sieracki, 9 year old with a Northern Pike of 2.5
pounds. Thank you to all the Bass Club members for making this happen and
thanks to Larrabee Sportsman Club for holding it at their lake. Everyone looked
like that were having a good time.
