VOLUNTEERS VITAL IN CARING FOR RARE BUTTERFLIES

Wisconsin has the world's largest population of endangered Karner blue butterflies and you can help protect these beautiful pollinators. Sign up to join the Karner blue butterfly citizen-based monitoring program. Volunteers will receive training on the butterfly's life cycle, habitat, and identification and will learn how to easily collect and submit important information that will help recovery efforts. 
2018 Training Dates:
June 16, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., Hartman Creek State Park
June 23, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Sandhill Wildlife Area
