Andre Jacque is a 'constituent's person'
I am writing this to explain to all of you who maybe never saw the other side of Andre Jacque, who is running for the 1st Senate District seat on June 12.
Besides being a very hard worker for those of us in the 2nd Assembly District, Jacque does care about our outdoors. He has attended most of the Manitowoc County Fish & Game meetings to explain what is going on in the legislature and offering his help to help us in any conservation project.
On top of that, he has been very open on how he has voted regarding gun control issues.
Jacque has bucked the party line when it comes to working for his constituents. During the last days of this year’s sessions, the assembly voted on raising the age of being able to get a long gun and some other issues. A voice vote was called to protect all legislators from their constituents finding out how they voted. Not Jacque. He requested the clerk make public his vote for all of us to see.
Once again, he bucked the system for us, his constituents.
Jacque is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and public safety. He supports all safety programs where the public can get involved.
I am asking that you please look at who will protect your rights the most, a person with a family who understands the costs of raising a family.
So, in closing, please vote for Andre Jacque, who is not a hardcore party-line person, but a constituent’s person.
Roger Vander Logt
