On June 14th, the
National Rifle Association along with the Oregon Hunters Association filed a
legal challenge with the Oregon Supreme Court to contest the ballot title for
Initiative Petition 44, which would force law-abiding gun owners to render
their firearms useless in a self-defense situation and would significantly
restrict the state’s youth hunting program. The Oregon Attorney General
certified this misleading and inadequate ballot title on May 31st after
more than 400 comments were submitted on the proposed title.

On Tuesday, June 19,
the Delaware Senate could consider legislation (Senate Bill 163) that would
ban commonly owned semi-automatic firearms in Delaware.

corporate overreach, Citigroup issued a press release in March saying it will
penalize banking clients who follow federal, state and local laws regarding

Attorneys for the
Colorado State Shooting Association, Boulder-based Gunsport of Colorado and
two private citizens — James Michael Jones and Robert Lynn Chambers — argue
the Boulder ordinance is invalid because sections of it conflict with state
law.

Democratic lawmakers
in Delaware are trying to push a ban on certain semi-automatic weapons to the
Senate floor for a vote, even though the measure failed in committee.

GOP gubernatorial
candidate Marcus Molinaro shot back Thursday at Gov. Cuomo’s recent gun
control tour by filing an ethics complaint about the governor's use of school
property for the effort.

The deadline for gun
owners to register their firearms as “assault weapons” or modify them to be
compliant with the restrictions that resulted from SB 880 and AB 1135 (2016)
must be completed by 11:59:59 P.M. on June 30, 2018. NRA opposed these
bills because gun registration inevitably leads to gun confiscation.
