Today, Senate Bill
163 was defeated for the second time this session when the gun ban
legislation failed to garner enough votes to be brought to the floor for
consideration.

Today, the
Pennsylvania House Judiciary Committee passed House Bill 2227, legislation
that creates so-called “extreme risk protection orders” whereby a
hearing would be held, firearms would be seized and constitutional rights
suspended with little to no due process.

UN Secretary-General
Antonio Guterres on Monday asked for more efforts to address the thorny issue
of regulating and controlling small arms.

billion firearms in the world today, including 857 million in civilian hands

control proposal aimed for November’s ballot got some unexpected help from
the Oregon Supreme Court on Monday.

Whitney Wolfe Herd
made the decision to ban guns from the app back in March and gave a $100,000
donation to the pro-gun control group March For Our Lives in response to the
mass school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

Senate Bill 677,
previously introduced in the North Carolina state Senate, is now
scheduled to be heard in the Senate Agriculture Committee on Wednesday, June
20th.

On Wednesday, June
20th, the Kirkland City Council will be holding a town hall meeting to
discuss Second Amendment and gun-related issues. According to the City
of Kirkland, agenda topics include enforcement of existing firearm
laws, firearm safety education, mental health, and supporting state
legislation regarding firearms.
