Gov. Andrew Cuomo is
using his bully pulpit again, proposing more gun control in New York as he
launched a bus tour full of theatrics this week calling for teachers and
other unaccountable school officials to confiscate firearms.

|
YouTube terminated
the account of Iowa gun seller Brownells without warning over the weekend,
then quickly restored the video channel after pressure from gun supporters.

|
|
|
|
The bill will make
it illegal for firearms and ammunition to be transfered or sold to young
adults aged 18-20 by licensed firearms dealers. In other words, AB3 is just a
bailout for unlicensed firearms and ammunition dealers.

|
New York Governor
Andrew Cuomo is pointing to Dick's Sporting Goods as proof that
"responsible corporate leadership" is good for business.

|
Gov. Cuomo ratcheted
up pressure on Republicans who tenuously control the state Senate to pass a
“red flag” bill that would allow teachers, relatives and law enforcement to
seek court orders removing guns from people they view as dangerous.

Ohio State
University's board of trustees approved a resolution last week that would
allow some off-duty officers to carry concealed weapons on campus.

Less than 24 hours
after the NRA and other petitioners filed a legal challenge opposing the
certified ballot title for Initiative Petition 43, the Oregon Supreme
Court issued an order consolidating all legal challenges, denying oral
arguments, and establishing imminent filing deadlines. On June 11th,
the NRA, along with other petitioners, filed a motion of reconsideration with
the Oregon Supreme Court objecting to their scheduling order.
