MARATHON SHOOT:  We will need a lot of help for the marathon shoot on Saturday, June 30th.  There will be between 40-60 shooters who will be getting the rest of their needed ATA targets in.  Each shooter will shoot anywhere from 100-500 targets.  Help with marking and filling traps will be greatly appreciated.  Shooting starts at 9am, and will continue as long as needed.

LEAGUE RULES:  The league rules were gone through at a director's meeting.  Some wording has been modernized.  Here is a copy of the league rules.

TARGET CALIBRATION:   There was a discussion on teams taking it upon themselves to make adjustments to the trap launchers if they don't like how the birds are flying.  Ron Weisner and Jim Schleis hoop the birds every Tuesday and Thursday night minutes prior to shooting to ensure the launchers are calibrated to that evening's weather conditions.  The rules do state that teams can request a trap reset prior to their round starting if the birds don't look right, which we are happy to verify and adjust if they are off, but that request needs to be made to the trap range officer, not a person on the team going and making adjustments to our launchers.

ADDITIONAL THANK YOUS:  Thanks to Dave Soukup and American Legion Post 88 for the donation of the American Flag.  Thanks to Preston Konop for the donation of the American Flag.  Thanks to Hartman's Greenhouse for the donation of the flowers for the skeet house.

-There will be no July meeting.

The next meeting will be at 7:00pm on Tuesday, August 7th, at the clubhouse.

Club Vice President
